Suso Dobao (ES) ceramic work is mainly based on geometry bringing him closer to a minimalist language. Seeking the purity of volumes and construct works using as few elements as possible. Another constant is the interest in the industrial architecture and design. Born in a small coastal town in Galicia, known for its port and its industrial activity, he has been attracted by all the shapes and structures of the shipyards.

The form has always been paramount in Abigail Ozora Simpson's (UK) work. Her aim is to create objects that transcend any immediate recognition of the process and even the material. Both the clay and the vessel have been taken to a point where any semblance of studio pottery has been left behind. It has been a slow journey over time. From vessels to sculpture, decoration to surface and function to non-function.

Bart Luijten (BE) has always been fascinated by the grain in print and analog photography. The noisy shadows, where barely something happens, that determine the atmosphere of what you are looking at. For him, noise equals information. In his charcoal drawings, he lets the light fall on an imaginary barrier. The shadow owes its birth to the light, although in this case it appears as if the light is born out of darkness.

Lucien Petit (FR) is a sculptor. Along with architects, he shares the ambition to build, bringing hospital forms out of the ground. Well built statues provide asylum. Like a temple, every work functions as a tangible receptacle to contain that which is not. His ceramic work develops an interest in architecture, construction structured by the binary opposites of full and empty, form and counter-form, elevation and collapse, mineral and organic.
